CSCS Signing Lighting and Guarding for Roadworks

Awarding Body: FAS
Who should attend: Managers , Supervisors and operators who are required to plan, organise, direct, control and manage the safe free flow of traffic through road works in rural and urban situations . Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006, this training is mandatory for setting out road traffic setups up to road level 4.
We offer public and private courses  from our training centre in Mayo. We also offer courses in Mayo,Roscommon, Galway and Sligo.We will also travel to your work location if required.

• Multiple Choice Exam
• Motorways/Dual Carriageways
• Classroom Practical
• Safe Systems of Installation
• Site Practical Exam
• Classroom Practical Exam
Course Duration: 3 days
Participation: maximum of 8
Certification: FAS/QQ1 Certification which is valid for 5 years

Note: there is also available a 1 Day CSCS Health and Safety at Roadworks for operatives working on Roads. This allows participants to maintain this Signing Lighting and Guarding.


Traffic management plans can also be devised for traffic management  layouts.
